The Apurimac River is considered as 1 of the top 5 rivers in the world for rafting. It is also the source of the world's longest and largest river, the great Amazon. Apu-Rimac is Quechua for "The Talking God".

DAY 1: We depart from Cusco at 9 am and start a 4 hour drive through the astonishing highlands of Peru, towards the adventure of your life. Once we get to the put-in (Huallpachaca, Apurimac) we will hand you the gear and equipment in order to get this adventure started. Lunch is served and later a safety talk will be given by one of our professional guides. Day 1 is a training day, 2 hours of rapids class III and III + until our first campsite, a beautiful and relaxing sandy beach, where you will rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
DAY 2: Starts at 7 in the morning. We will have a very energetic breakfast and start paddling into great class IV and V rapids for about 5 hours. At noon we will stop for a very comforting lunch and a well deserved rest. Then we will float for about 3 more hours until our next campsite.
DAY 3: Once again we wake up at 7 am and have breakfast. Today we paddle for about 3 hours through rapids class III-V, until the end of this exciting adventure, our take out at Cunyac, where a fantastic lunch awaits us. After a 2 hour drive to Cuzco we will be arriving at around 4 pm.
